Beatrice holds what you have to do, both the jobs that are only yours and the ones the whole house shares. It will mention them more than once, and it will never mention how many times it has asked.
Personal and pooled
Yours, and everybody's.
Some things are only yours. The prescription. The email you owe your accountant. The thing you promised your sister on the phone.
Some belong to the house, and those sit in a pool anyone can pick up. You claim one and it is yours until it is done.
Both live in the same place, so there is one answer to what needs doing rather than two apps quietly disagreeing.
Repetition
Asking twice is not nagging.
Most reminder apps fire once. If you were driving, or cooking, or halfway through something, that was the one chance, and by the evening it is a red dot you will clear without reading.
Beatrice comes back. Two and a half minutes later if you snooze it. Again in the evening. Again tomorrow.
The wording is identical every single time, and nothing anywhere counts how often it has asked, because the moment a reminder starts keeping a tally it has turned into a scold.

Hold the notification and the buttons are right there.

You never have to open the app to finish something, which matters more than it sounds, because opening the app is where most of these jobs go to die.
Quiet hours
It knows when you are awake.
You set the hours you are willing to hear from it and it stays inside them. Nothing arrives at half past six on a Sunday.
There is a ceiling on how much it will queue up, and when it reaches the ceiling it drops the furthest-away things first. So the reminder you actually needed today is the one that survives.
No score
No streak. No count. No red.
- Nothing turns red when it is late.
- Nothing counts what you have missed.
- There is no number that goes down.
The list is what needs doing. What did not get done yesterday is simply still on it.
